Elizabeth Zavala received a B.A. in history from LSU before receiving her Juris Doctor from Loyola University of New Orleans College of Law. She a member of the International Law Society, the Hispanic Law Student Association, the Maritime Law Journal, and ranked in the top 30% of her class. At Loyola, she also received an International Law Certificate.
After graduating, Elizabeth worked at the Law Offices of James A. Williams in Gretna, the Law Offices of Miguel A. Elias in Kenner, the Law Offices of Connick & Connick in Metairie, and The Richards Law Firm in Covington. Elizabeth has extensive experience in Family Law handling cases regarding divorce, child custody, spousal and child support, adoption, interdiction, and community property.
Elizabeth is an active member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the 22nd JDC Bar Association, the 22nd JDC Inn of Court, and she is an active member of the Krewe of Iris and the Zeta Tau Alpha - Northshore Alumnae Group.
