Chandler D. McCoy is a native of the Northshore, growing up in Mandeville and Abita Springs and graduating from Fontainebleau High School.
She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Political Science, with a minor in Psychology, from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2016 and her Juris Doctorate from Florida State University College of Law in 2019. While in law school, she participated in FSU’s Veteran’s Legal Clinic serving the indigent veteran population of Tallahassee and assisting them in resolving a variety of legal issues.
She is currently a member of the Federal Bar Association, Louisiana State Bar Association and the 22nd JDC Bar Association for which she is the 2020 Young Lawyers Section Chair.
She is authorized to practice in all Louisiana State Courts, the United States District Court for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
Chandler’s main areas of practice are family law, general civil litigation, corporate and business litigation, personal injury, and defense of public entities/subdivisions.
